Steinstø-Botnen return: Adults: kr. 200,- Children: kr. 110,-
One way: kr. 110,-
Family ticket: kr. 550,-

Time table for boat trips to and from Botnen / Fyksesund fjord

MS “Peer Gynt” takes you on an unforgettable trip into beautiful Fyksesund (Fykse sound). At the end of the sound, is the small village called Botnen, which is not accessible by car. Botnen is the “birth place” of the traditional Norwegian fiddle called the “Hardingfele”, an important instrument in some forms of Norwegian folk music. At Botnen, the boat stops, and guests may disembark for a short walk. There is a guest house which serves meals, and it is possible to stay overnight by making arrangements in advance via the Botnen Gjestetun. It is about a 20 minute walk on foot from the quay, however if you should require transportation, it can be arranged.

MS “Peer Gynt” is suitable for a variety of occasions, for example: company parties, senior citizen tours, birthday celebrations, class reunions and fishing trips.

We can collect you and bring you to where ever you might wish to go in Hardanger, But we strongly recomend that you take a trip in the Fyksesundet fjord – our local ”Trollfjord” - til Botnen.
