  • Kvam tourist information
    Kvam municipality is located in the centre of Hordaland, only an hours drive away from Bergen. Here you can enjoy the fjord, the mountains and the very best of the culture and history that Hardanger has to offer.
  • Goldfish Lake
    The lake is known across the country as the “Goldfish Lake” because of the golden ide. This species and the crucian carp were introduced in the lake in the summer of 1914.

  • Kabuso / Ingebrigt Vik Museet
    Kabuso will manifest itself as an arts and culture centre in Øystese.
    Looking at the past it will reflect the present and be a meeting place for all.
    Kabuso is a centre where art and culture is communicated at a professional level, and the art will create a dialogue between Norway and the rest of the world.

    Vik museum is a complete collection of work by the sculptor Ingebrigt Vik.
    The collection consists of work in terracotta, plaster, marble and bronze.

  • Hardanger Fartøyvernsenter
    Hardanger Ships Preservation Centre (HFS). A commercial foundation, the centre is engaged in a broad spectre of services in ship preservation and conservation, building new and restoring old boats, apprenticeships, museum management, camp schools and activities related to tourism. HFS is one of three national ships preservation centres appointed by the Directorate of Cultural Heritage.
  • Steinsdals Waterfall
    The waterfall is one of the most visited attractions in Norway. It is especially known for the path that leads behind the falls. Walk behind a waterfall without getting your feet wet?
  • Botnen Gjestetun
    Meal service and accommodations at Botnen, a little village at the end of the Fyksesund fjord. A rustic restaurant in unique surroundings. A good kitchen based on local ingredients, featuring wild deer meat and organically feed beef.
  • Steinstø Fruktgard og Kakebu ( fruit farm and cake shop)
    We are only 200m from the Steinstø quay. We sell berries and fruit in season, jams, cakes and lefse all of which are produced on the farm. There is also a café selling good homemade meals where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. Our farm is open for group tours and we have a restaurant that seats 60 guests.

  • Speciel winter activities: Alpin slopes at Kvamskogen (ca 25 min. by car)
    Furedalen: Furedalen has 2 large skilifts each about 950 m and a childrens ski lift.
    Eikedalen: 12 alpin slopes / 15 km of slopes; 5 slopes with lights.
    Sjusete Skisenter: Many cross country trails and one lighted trail  (15 min by car)

    Here can you find information about our activities on and around Folgefonna glacier. It is also possible to do booking online at this web page. Folgefonni glacierteam runs glacier guiding at the ice cap Folgefonna, the third biggest in Norway. Additional activities are sailing, kayaking, bicycling at the glacier, climbing and skiing.  Folgefonni Breførarlag has its base in Jondal.

  • Hardangervidda Natursenter
    In beautiful and dramatic Western Norway,at the foot of the Vøringsfoss waterfall and
    by the ascent of the Måbødalen valley. The purpose of the centre is to gather and distributre knowledge about interaction in nature and human activities. Our task is to bring about an intimate meeting of modern man and nature.
  • Baroniet i Rosendal
