About the boat:
The boat, MS “Peer Gynt”, is docked at the quay in Steinstø on the road RV 7 ("riksvei” 7 the main
road towards Kvanndal), the “tourist road” that leads through Hardanger. At the quay there is ample
parking for both cars and buses.
The boat is very well suited for sightseeing, daily transportation, parties and celebrations. The boat
has also been used for fishing trips in the local waters.
The parlor is comfortable and seats 48 for dining (at tables). The large windows offer a panorama view. There is
room for 40 people on the sundeck. The passengers receive a guided tour while on board.
Season:
MS “Peer Gynt” is available year-round for tours. The boat has set departure times, from Steinstø,
for the trip through Fyksesund (Fykse sound) to Botnen, a small village which is not accessible by car.
